Tips

  • 🔄 Most glitches clear by logging out and back in — it rebuilds your session and reloads all required variables.
  • 🔔 Notifications stopped? Open Notifications, click Unsubscribe, then Enable Notifications — this re-registers a stale device token.
  • 🐞 Still stuck? Report it via Contact Us with the error text and the page you were on.
  • 🛠️ Work the steps top to bottom — simplest fixes first; move on rather than repeating a step that didn't help.
  • 🍪 × Clear Cookies resets saved preferences (theme, font size, filters) without logging you out.
  • 🕵️ Incognito / Private Browsing gives a clean cookie and cache state without touching your normal profile.

If you run into trouble — page stuck, things not saving, or an error message — try these steps in order.

  1. Refresh the page.
On mobile, drag down from the top of the screen. On desktop, press Ctrl+F5. A timed-out session will trigger an automatic re-login.
  2. Close the browser and re-open.
After a site update, old sessions can cause temporary errors such as ViewState errors.
  3. Log out and log back in.
This creates a fresh session and ensures all required session variables are set correctly.
  4. Clear your browser cache.
Forces your browser to download the latest scripts and styles rather than using stale cached copies.
  5. Clear qMEET cookies.
Resets certain saved preferences stored by this site. You will not be logged out.
  6. Try Incognito / Private Browsing.
Runs with a clean cookie and cache state without affecting your normal browser profile.
  7. Try a different browser or device.
Helps rule out a browser-specific setting, extension, or cached file as the cause.
  8. Not receiving notifications?
If you subscribed to push notifications but they've stopped arriving, open Notifications, click Unsubscribe, then click Enable Notifications to re-subscribe.
  9. Contact us.
Use the Contact Us page and include what you were doing and any error text you saw.
