Tips
- ➕ Tap + Join right on a result card to join without opening it — it then shows a ✓ Member pill (leave from the group's details page).
- ↺ Reset Filters puts everything back to the defaults — all groups within 50 miles of your profile city, sorted by most interests matched — handy when an old filter is still narrowing your results.
- 🔒 Private groups don't appear in search at all — card badges flag pending approval (your join request is waiting) or yours (a group you created).
- 🔎 The search box at the top is always visible — type a word and press Enter or tap 🔍 to find groups by name or description. Your search is combined with any filters you've set below.
- ⚙ Tap ▼ Show Search Options to narrow by Which Groups (all / member of / created), city, state, or a radius around a city (e.g. groups within 50 miles of Detroit — covers the whole metro).
- 🗺 Tap Show Map to see the matching groups on a map; nearby pins group into a numbered cluster you can tap to zoom in. Groups have no ZIP or street address, so every pin is red at the city center (approximate).
- ➕ Nothing fits? Tap + Create New Group to start your own — it goes live after admin approval.
