🚦 Getting Your Group Live

Go Live? is honored on the very first save — Yes plus ✓ Create Group makes the group visible immediately. It defaults to Not yet, so a group you just save without touching it is a hidden draft.

The one exception is an Any member group: it needs at least one tag before it can be published — tags are how it gets found, since Suggested Groups on Home and search on Find Groups both run off them. Ask for Yes before it has one and it's created hidden instead, and the Publish card says so before you save. Creating an Any-member group always lands you on 🏷️ Edit Group Tags; publish from there.

A new group's audience starts at Only my contacts, and that tier and Private skip the tag rule entirely — set Go Live? to Yes and save. Once live, a group stays live while you edit.

While anything is still missing, a ⚠ banner at the top of this page lists exactly what's left. Going live is not held up for review: the group is visible straight away and an admin looks it over afterwards, which the status badge in Publish spells out.

✓ Saving & Uploading

If a similar group already exists in the same state, ✓ Create Group disables itself until you either open that group instead or confirm yours is different. Nothing is broken — answer the prompt under the name box.

Group File Uploads (in ⚙️ Settings) sends the file the moment you pick it — before you save, and it stays even if you × Cancel. The group has to exist first.

Ctrl/Cmd + S saves from anywhere on the page.

• Half-finished new group? It's kept on this device and offered back when you return.
• Your group's page carries 📊 Member Availability and 🧩 Member Interests & Cities — anonymous charts of when members are free and what they're into. Plan events off those.
• Setting a Metro Area draws from the whole area, so a metro group usually fills faster than a single-city one.
• The chip row at the top jumps to any card, ⚙️ Settings included.
