What you'll see 🌲 Old growth

The Hoh receives twelve to fourteen feet of rain a year, and this short loop runs through the heart of it: Sitka spruce and western hemlock 300 feet tall, and a grove of bigleaf maple so hung with moss that the light turns green.

Tips
Level and easy, though not formally wheelchair accessible. Go early or late - the light through the moss is best when it is not overhead. It will very likely be raining, and that is the point.
