A rolling alpine loop with the classic Rainier-reflected-in-a-tarn photograph.

Tips
Walk it clockwise so the mountain is in front of you for the best half. Peak wildflowers in late July and huckleberries in September. Half the loop is on the Pacific Crest Trail, and half is outside the park in national forest.
