What you'll see ⛰️ Summit🌄 Big views

The Ridge Trail climbs through forest to a rock scramble that goes on for the better part of a mile: squeezing through clefts, climbing chimneys and hauling over boulders. The summit is bare granite with a view in every direction. The circuit returns by the Saddle Trail and the Weakley Hollow fire road.

Tips
From 1 March to 30 November you need an Old Rag day-use ticket booked in advance on recreation.gov, in addition to the park pass. Pets are not allowed. Seven to eight hours for most people, and the scramble is genuinely hands-on - not for anyone with a heavy pack or a dog.
Location

Old Rag parking area, Nethers (park boundary)
