What you'll see 💧 Waterfall🌄 Big views

This trail follows a lovely creek through mixed conifer forest to the 70-foot Mystic Falls, over which the Little Firehole River drops from the Madison Plateau. Safety notes: Stay on maintained trails and boardwalks at all times, especially in hydrothermal areas. Trailheads: Walk 0.3 miles to the far side of the Biscuit Basin boardwalk to the trailhead or begin 0.25 miles (0.4 km) south of Biscuit Basin by parking in pullouts on either side of the road and walking 0.5 miles north along the Upper Geyser Basin-Biscuit Basin Trail to the trailhead.

Tips
The steep loop up to the overlook above the falls, looking back over the Upper Geyser Basin, is worth the extra climb. Biscuit Basin has had thermal explosion closures - check it is open.
