What you'll see 🌄 Big views🌊 River or creek🕳️ Cave or arch

A permit-only scramble up a river bed to a tunnel-shaped canyon that looks like a subway tunnel.

Tips
A permit is required and allocated by lottery months ahead. There is no trail - you boulder-hop up the Left Fork and back, and route-finding at the descent from the rim catches people out. The bottom-up route needs no ropes; the top-down does.
Location

Left Fork trailhead, Kolob Terrace Road
