What you'll see 🌄 Big views🦌 Wildlife

Relatively level for its length, the trail rolls between the Door and Window parking area and the Fossil Exhibit trailhead, passing eroded formations and open mixed-grass prairie. It links with the Medicine Root and Saddle Pass trails, so it can be cut into shorter loops.

Tips
Shuttle a second car to the Fossil Exhibit end and it becomes a five-mile one-way walk instead of ten. There is no shade and no water anywhere on it.
