What you'll see 🌄 Big views🕳️ Cave or arch🏛️ Historic site

Three miles round trip from Wolfe Ranch with 480 feet of climbing, most of it on an exposed slickrock slab with no shade and no water. The last stretch is a narrow rock ledge that opens without warning onto the arch itself, sitting on the rim of a natural sandstone bowl.

Tips
No shade, no water, and the slickrock radiates heat - carry at least a litre per person and do not attempt it midday in summer. Sunset is spectacular and crowded; bring a headtorch because the descent in the dark is where people get lost off the cairns.
