What you'll see 🏞️ Lake

If completed round-trip, the Old Borrow Pit Trail is 1.8 miles total. This there-and-back trail begins at a trailhead behind residential property at Reservation Road and leads to Highway 98. There is no parking available at the trailhead as the area is residential, but visitors may park at the dirt pulloff further down Reservation Road. Sand from the borrow pit was used for the construction of U. S. Highway 98. The trail is sandy with little shade, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear and water. It also intersects with the Old Quarry, Beaver Pond, and Andrew Jackson Trails for visitors wishing to extend their hike. Duration: 1-1.5 hours
