The Fishing Trail runs the length of the Santa Rosa Sound side of the Naval Live Oaks Area. There are several water access points along the trail for fishing or to launch a kayak. Visitors may traverse through dense forest down to the sandy bay, where wildlife can be observed. This trail connects to the Brackenridge Loop Trail and overlook. The Fishing Trail runs 0.92 miles parallel to US Highway 98, not including intersections with other trails. If completed as an out-and-back, the total length is 1.84 miles. Trailhead locations: Intersection with Brackenridge Nature Trail 3 pullouts on the south side of US Highway 98 going east from Gulf Breeze to Naval Live Oaks Duration: 1-1.5 hours
