A short steep climb into the Tatoosh Range, directly facing the south face of Rainier.

Tips
The best straight-on view of the mountain for the distance. Snowfields on the upper trail can persist into August and have caused falls - check conditions. The saddle is the maintained end; the peak itself is a scramble.
