What you'll see 🌊 River or creek🏛️ Historic site

Kaymoor was a company town clinging to the gorge wall from 1900 to 1962. The trail drops past the mine bench with its ruined processing works, then down the stairway the miners used to reach the town below.

Tips
The 821 steps are the crux - going down is easy and coming back up is not. The industrial ruins are genuinely remarkable. Stay out of the mine openings.
