What you'll see ⛰️ Summit🌄 Big views🏞️ Lake❄️ Winter use

Nymph Lake at half a mile is covered in pond lilies, Dream Lake at 1.1 miles sits below Hallett Peak, and Emerald Lake at 1.8 miles is jammed against the cirque headwall. Each is better than the last.

Tips
The Bear Lake corridor needs a timed entry permit from late May to mid-October, booked on recreation.gov. The car park fills before 6am; use the shuttle from the Park and Ride. Superb as a snowshoe route in winter.
