What you'll see 🌲 Old growth

The Wonders of Sequoias You are standing in the midst of one of Yosemite's natural and cultural treasures-and among the world's most massive living organisms. These trees, Sequoiadendron giganteum, are not the oldest living things. Although the oldest giant sequoias may exceed 3,000 years in age, some living specimens of the ancient bristlecone pine, Pinus arista , are more than 4,600 years old!

Tips
Reached by free shuttle from the Mariposa Grove Welcome Plaza - private cars cannot drive to the grove in season. Fully wheelchair accessible.
