Arrigetch means "fingers of the outstretched hand" in Inupiaq, and the peaks are exactly that: sheer granite towers rising out of the Brooks Range. There is no trail. From the float plane landing at Circle Lake it is roughly eight miles of tussock, alder and boulder to the base camp valleys, and most parties take two days each way.

Tips
Access is by chartered bush plane from Bettles - budget for weather delays of several days in both directions. There are no trails, no bridges, no signs and no rescue on demand. A satellite communicator is not optional here.
