What you'll see 🌊 River or creek🦌 Wildlife

A short paved and boardwalk loop over the Taylor Slough. In the dry season the slough concentrates fish, and with them alligators, anhingas, herons, egrets and turtles, all of them close and entirely used to people.

Tips
Fully accessible. Go at dawn or in the last hour of light for the most activity. Vultures genuinely damage car rubber in the Royal Palm car park - the rangers hand out tarps, so use one.
