What you'll see 💧 Waterfall🌄 Big views🕳️ Cave or arch

The only trail in the park with running water. The stream is actually the Tropic Ditch, dug by Mormon settlers in 1892 to divert water off the plateau; it has been cutting this canyon ever since and feeds a small waterfall that reliably freezes into a column each winter.

Tips
This trailhead is on Highway 12 outside the fee area, so it costs nothing and never needs a shuttle. Best in winter when the falls and the cave both ice over.
