What you'll see 🌊 River or creek🌲 Old growth

Home Creek has cut a slot through the alluvial bluffs and the vertical walls are solid with five-fingered, sword, deer and lady ferns, some of them families of plants unchanged for 325 million years. Scenes from Jurassic Park 2 were filmed here.

Tips
A permit is required from May to September and the access is via Davison Road, a narrow gravel route with a creek ford unsuitable for vehicles over 24 feet. You walk in the creek - waterproof boots or sandals you do not mind soaking.
