AccessibilityThis site is in a remote forest setting. The parking area is flat, but terrain will be difficult, especially in winter.

In a mature and varied forest setting interspersed with mountain meadows and geographic features, this park is near the Mt. Adams Wilderness. Here visitors will find access to trails leading to remote forest lakes, high-mountain elevations and some of the most spectacular country found anywhere. Note : Smith Butte Sno-Park is open intermittently as dictated by funds and snow pack. There are no signed or groomed trails. This is a joint use facility for both motorized and non-motorized users. Snowmobile use may occur on Aiken Lava Bed.
