Healthcare affects every one of us - our families, our jobs, our businesses, and our communities.

Join the **CMU Democrats** for a community town hall featuring **State Representative Carrie Rheingans** and **Luke Del Castillo** for a conversation about **MiCare** and the future of healthcare in Michigan.

Rep. Rheingans is the sponsor of **House Bill 4407**, known as MiCare, a proposal to establish a universal, publicly funded healthcare system for Michigan residents. The proposal would provide comprehensive coverage without premiums, deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance and would include services such as medical, mental health, dental, vision, hearing, and prescription drug care.

This town hall is an opportunity to learn more about MiCare, how the proposal would work, how it would be funded, and what it could mean for patients, families, healthcare providers, employers, and communities across Michigan.

Most importantly, this is a conversation. Bring your questions, your experiences with Michigan's healthcare system, and your thoughts about what healthcare should look like in our state.

Whether you already know a lot about MiCare or are hearing about it for the first time, you're welcome to come, listen, ask questions, and be part of the discussion.
