🙋 Interested? RSVP! — What Saves and What It Does
Interested? and Are you going? save the instant you pick them. The guest count
and the note fields do not — those need ✓ Save RSVP.
Saying you're going also joins you to the event. If the organizer requires approval,
you stay pending until they approve you.
Your notes and your Can't Make It? reasons go to the organizer only,
never to other members. Reminders arrive by push and email before the start — nothing to set
up here; both channels and Quiet Hours live on
Notifications.
🔍 When the Details Change
Editing an event notifies nobody. A new time, a different meeting spot, a rain plan —
the organizer posts it in 💬 Event Chat. Check it as the date gets close.
Most 📋 Listings here are run entirely outside qMEET. The notice at the top of the
page names where, and ℹ️ About This Event carries a Where to sign up link —
confirm the date, time and place there, and sign up there too. Saying you're going on this
page tells other members; it does not get you a ticket.
A 📷 Event Files card appears only when the organizer attached something —
a flyer, map, menu, or waiver. Easy to miss.
📍 Checking In on the Day
The 📍 Event Check-in card shows up only for attendees, and only from 30 minutes
before the start until the event ends. Don't go looking for it earlier.
📍 Check-in marks you Arrived and drops your pin on the live map so everyone
can find each other. Once you're in, it becomes 📍 Update Check-in & Location —
tap it again any time to re-take your location or change your note.
Its three checkboxes all start ticked: share your exact location,
update your status, and update your site-wide check-in. Untick what you don't
want before you tap. 🚫 Clear My Location pulls your pin later without leaving the
event.
🧭 If It's Your Event
Three anonymous charts plan it for you, built from your attendees' own profiles — no
poll to send. 📊 Member Availability gives you the day & time most of them are
free; 🧩 Member Interests and 📍 Member Cities give you the what and the where.
They fill in as more people RSVP.
📋 RSVP Details gathers every member's written answers grouped by question — who's
bringing what, allergies, requests. Organizers only.
Your badge row carries a member views count nobody else sees.
🤝 Start a Get-Together (under 🤝 Get-Togethers for This Listing) starts a new
one from this page and leaves this page alone. Tick Link this to the event I'm copying
to attach it to this listing — “a few of us are going” — or untick it
for a standalone one you just want to run yourself. It explains both before anything
happens.
💡 Tips
- Use the shortcut buttons under the event name — 📌 At a Glance,
📝 RSVP, 🗳️ Vote, 💬 Chat and the rest. They open the card
for you as well as scrolling to it, so nothing stays collapsed. A button you
can't see means that card isn't on this event.
- 🗳️ You can't see everyone's voting results until you've cast a vote yourself.
- Set Are you going? to Arrived/Attended on the day — that's what lists you
under Who Has Arrived.
- The rail's Actions box holds 🔗 Share / Invite,
📅 Add to Calendar, 📋 Copy Link, 🖨 Print.
- Even a Maybe beats silence — organizers size the day, place, and food around who
replies.
