Shows Are Standing Room OnlyIn an era of precision-crafted playlists and algorithmic recommendations, Pajamas is arefreshing anomaly. Hailing from Ann Arbor, MI, Pajamas style has been described asexploratory rock - a good descriptor for Pajamas sound which contains asmorgasbord of influences from across almost the whole canon of American musictradition. This four man group is redefining the live music experience, standing on theshoulders of giants and crafting performances that are as much about the journey asthe destination.The bands rocky overall sound is nuanced, feeling almost like each song is aninteresting, in-depth conversation between the band and audience. The bands fourmembers - Nicholas Orr, Graham Low, Owen Kellenberger, and Liam Gallegos - weavetogether a tapestry of sound that is both intricate and expansive. Songs blendseamlessly into one another, creating a sense of flow and continuity that is all too rare inmodern music.Pajamas draws influence from the likes of Pink Floyd, Phish, Chick Corea, GratefulDead, Jaco Pastorius, David Bowie, Brian Blade, Radiohead, Victor Wooten, AllmanBrothers and many others. Since 2018, Pajamas has played hundreds of shows acrossthe Midwest and beyond. From festivals like Summer Camp and big stages likeFrederik Meijer Garden Amphitheater theyve shared the stage with nationally touringacts including Goose, Aqueous, Thornetta Davis, Karina Rykman and many others.
