👀 A Blank Card Is A Setting

Name, age, gender, photos, interests, availability, last-active and live status are each gated separately by this member. A missing card usually means "not shared with you", not "empty profile".

How much you see depends on who you are. Signed out shows the least. Signing in adds anything they set to Any Member. Their Only My Contacts fields need you to be mutual contacts — ＋ Add Contact is one-directional, so nothing unlocks until they add you back.

Signing in also adds a line of your own: the 🤝 You share N interests note in their 🎯 Interests card counts the ones you have both rated 😍 Love or 🙂 Like. Here for: above it is their own answer to what they're on qMEET for, set on My Profile.

Their live status and check-in place never show to signed-out visitors, whatever the member chose.

👤 Your Own Profile Has Three Views

On your own profile a bar at the top lets you switch audience: 🌐 Signed-out visitor, 👥 Any member, or 🤝 My contacts. The page re-renders through the tier you pick, so you see exactly what each one sees.

It opens on signed-out visitor — the strictest view, and the one worth checking. Fields you set to Only My Contacts (your last-active time, by default) are hidden from the first two tiers, so a blank there is a setting working, not missing data.

One thing no tier can show you: if you've let organizers of your events and groups see your availability, that's a per-person grant rather than an audience, so it sits outside all three views. The bar says so when it applies to you.

👤 Edit My Profile goes to My Profile; Preferences → Privacy sets each audience.

🛡️ Three Controls For This One Member

👁 Presence Shown points outward: it stops this member seeing your status, place, "Here Until" time and check-in photos. They can still chat with you.

🔔 Time-Sensitive Alerts On points inward: it silences push and reminder email for their time-sensitive messages. It is not Block — their messages still arrive and still appear in your chat. ⊘ Block is the loud one, reversible from your Contact List or here.

⚐ Report User Profile sends it to admins and never tells the member who reported them. No 💬 Chat button? Their Who can message me setting excludes you — yours is on Preferences.
