Join the ‘No Kings’ Event in Douglas Saugatuck Douglas Area Indivisibles are hosting a “No Kings” event on Saturday, October 17, 12 – 2 p.m., in front of the newly-opened Headquarters on Blue Star Highway in Douglas. The goal of this nationwide “No Kings: Voting Early Is How We Use Our Power” event is to create community awareness about the importance of voting in this election and voting early. Messaging on event banners and signs will include such statements as “Protect Your Vote,” “Vote Early” and “Vote in Person.” We need a record voter turnout in this election to flip the House and the Senate.
