The annual holiday tradition returns to the Rozsa Lobby with a few exciting changes. This year, Home for the Holidays shifts into the evening hours, and will be followed by a showing of the holiday movie classic, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on the Rozsa big screen!

Make it an evening out with your friends, family, or a date. Browse this unique holiday gift market, with live ambient music, specialty concessions, and featuring high-quality, hand-crafted items to decorate your home, stuff stockings, and give as the perfect gifts to loved ones.

Then, stop by our box office for tickets and settle in for a beloved holiday film favorite. Bag check will be available at the box office so you don’t have to bring your items into the theater with you. Don't forget to hit concessions for freshly popped popcorn. The fun continues after the movie with holiday movie trivia in the theatre hosted by local comedian Hailey Macias!

About the Market

The Rozsa’s Home for the Holidays Gift Market is one of the Keweenaw Peninsula's most cherished seasonal traditions. Held annually on Small Business Saturday during Thanksgiving weekend, this vibrant event transforms the Rozsa lobby into a festive marketplace celebrating community and local craftsmanship. As a juried show, the market carefully selects its vendors to guarantee a diverse, high-quality assortment of unique goods. The market dates back to 1999, just before the Rozsa Center officially opened in 2000. The single-day market now regularly welcomes over 1,000 shoppers and families from across the Upper Peninsula.

About the Presenter

The Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts cultivates a vibrant and connected community through experiences that bring the Keweenaw together. Located on Michigan Technological University's campus in Houghton, Michigan, the 80,000-square-foot arts center's design is inspired by the inclined look of the local copper mine hoists and shaft houses inside and out. Event spaces include the Rozsa Lobby, James and Margaret Black Performance Hall, Rozsa Backstage, Rozsa Art Galleries, and McArdle Theatre.

As the largest theater in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the Rozsa dramatically expands the region’s access to large-scale performing arts events including Broadway tours, ballet, cirque, music, and more.
