# Love as Action: Witnessing for Peace, Resisting Authoritarianism

### Quaker-hosted public witness, standing in opposition to cruel and authoritarian actions in our country and abroad. Join us to show this love in action again.
Please join Birmingham Friends Meeting to bear witness and show resistance to the authoritarian actions in our country. War is not the answer, at home or abroad.

On Saturday October 10 at 11 AM we will gather at the corner adjacent to Royal Oak Farmers Market for one hour of silent public worship.

We have been gathering monthly in communities across the country, showing our communities love in action as a public witness of our Quaker values in a time of rising oppression.
