?? Purpose of this event

I’m organizing this peaceful community rally to raise awareness and give a voice to people in Huron County who feel they or someone they love has been ignored, dismissed, or failed by the systems that were meant to protect them.

This event is about encouraging community conversation, supporting survivors, and calling for accountability and transparency. No one should be afraid to report a serious crime or feel like their voice doesn’t matter.

?? Why I’m hosting this

After my own experiences and hearing from others in our community, I’ve realized many people feel unheard and unsupported. Whether your experience involves sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, or another serious crime, you deserve to be treated with dignity and to have your concerns taken seriously.

This rally is an opportunity to stand together, support one another, and remind our community that every voice matters.

?? Volunteers Needed

I can’t do this alone. I’m looking for volunteers to help with things like:

* Planning and organizing
* Greeting attendees
* Helping keep the event organized
* Taking photos and videos
* Speaking with attendees
* Creating signs and materials
* Reaching out to local media
