Third Space - Graduate Student Support Group

Third Space is a weekly graduate student support group designed to break down departmental silos and connect students with their peers from across the university. Whether you are a first-year Master’s student or a PhD Finishing Fellow, you’ll find a community that understands the unique experience of earning an advanced degree from Michigan Tech.

What to Expect: A comfortable setting, snacks, and connection with peers. This is a low-pressure, discussion-based format that addresses the needs of the collective group through peer-to-peer support. Discussion topics may include work/life balance, relationship concerns, burnout, etc.

Details: Open to all Michigan Tech graduate students. Meets weekly on Thursdays at 10:00 AM in Admin 313 (CSMHW Relaxation Room), unless otherwise noted.

Stop by whenever your schedule allows, but regular attendance increases maximum benefit. No long-term commitment or registration required. Just show up as you are!
