About This Event
The inaugural Upper Peninsula Folklife Festival features traditional arts practitioners from the Upper Peninsula and Upper Midwest, including Indigenous peoples and Scandinavian and Nordic cultural traditions. The festival includes demonstrations, performances and workshops focused on traditional folk arts such as carving, weaving, dance, music and craft practices.
