Make a Difference Day 2026

Every fall, Student Leadership and Involvement hosts "Make a Difference Day," the largest national day of community service, in which students, faculty, and staff come together to serve our community. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 17.

Volunteer projects will vary based on the needs of local agencies and community members. Painting, weeding, planting, digging, raking, cleaning, organizing, and moving are all likely projects that we have seen in the past.

Register as a volunteer through our community service website, GivePulse, starting Tuesday, September 8th at 8:00 AM. Registration will close on Sunday, October 11th at 11:59 PM.

Check-in will occur from 8:30 - 9:00 AM in the Commons on the ground floor of the MUB for all registrants. Information packets will be distributed and from there, groups will travel to their assigned service locations. Projects may require that groups drive to their location.
