  of the Michigan Working Families Party chapter. At the Detroit stop\, we
 ’ll dig into a central question: What will it take to build lasting poli
 tical power for working people in Michigan? Together\, we’ll learn from 
 the history and strategy of movements that have built independent politica
 l power and begin shaping the priorities and agenda that will guide Michig
 an WFP. We’ll also hear from movement leaders and elected officials\, co
 nnect with organizers and activists from across Detroit and Michigan\, and
  move from political education to action with an afternoon volunteer canva
 ss and phone bank supporting Abdul El-Sayed and other progressive champion
 s up and down. the ballot.
