SUMMARY:PADI Open Water SCUBA Course
DESCRIPTION:Registration and payment can be completed online\, by phone at 
 906-487-2073\, or at the SDC Ticket Office. Participants must sign a waive
 r of liability and PADI required forms (liability release assumption of ri
 sk\, medical statement\, and statement of understanding) prior to particip
 ation. The SDC is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Please do n
 ot leave valuables unattended. This PADI Open Water Diver Course is conduc
 ted over two weekends and includes: 10 hours of academic instruction (some
  coursework to be completed independently)\, 10 hours of confined water tr
 aining (SDC Pool) and 4 certification dives in Lake Superior (Marquette). 
 Upon registration\, students will be given all required reading material a
 nd paperwork to complete prior to the start of the course. Class size is l
 imited. Appropriate swimwear (bathing suits\, no cutoffs or street clothes
 ) and a towel. Must be 18 years old and be able to swim 200 yards comforta
