 ublic lot behind the building. The event is free and open to the public. D
 oors open at 6 pm and the event begins at 6:30 pm. Libby Williams\, an ind
 ependent journalist with the Saline Summit will talk with Barbara about he
 r recent book “The Fix\, Saving America from the Corruption of a Mob Sty
 le Government”. This event is in partnership with *Fine Print Books* of 
 Saline. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by t
 he author. In “The Fix”\, Barbara McQuade draws on her decades of expe
 rience as a federal prosecutor to show us the detrimental effects of a gov
 ernment that uses corruption\, cruelty\, and chaos as tools of control. Ey

 er to take it back. Barbara McQuade is a professor at the University of Mi
 chigan Law School\, where she teaches criminal law and national security l
 aw. She is also a legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. From 2010 to 2017\
 , McQuade served as the U.S Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan.
  She was appointed by President Barack Obama and was the first woman to ho
 ld the position. Before her appointment as U.S. Attorney\, McQuade served 
 as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Detroit for 12 years. Saline Indivisible
