DESCRIPTION:Join us for Verses & Voices: Open Mic Night\, an evening of cre
 ativity\, connection\, and community centered on Community & Care. This ev
 ent is hosted by For Our Future Michigan\, in partnership with Michigan Fa
 milies for Fair Care and Bee Accepting. ?? ?? Connect: The first 15–30 m
 inutes will be open social time to grab some snacks\, meet new people\, an
 d catch up with the community. ?? Create: We'll kick things off with inter
 active activities like six-word memoirs\, finish-the-line prompts\, cento 
 poems\, community poems\, and spoken word challenges. Everyone is invited 
 to participate\, whether you're planning to take the mic or just want to c
 reate alongside others. ?? Share: We'll then open the mic for poetry\, sto
 rytelling\, songs\, spoken word\, and other creative expressions. Bring an
  original piece inspired by Community & Care or share something from an au
 thor you love. You can also simply come listen and enjoy the performances.
  ?? Get involved: Throughout the evening\, we'll share opportunities to co
 nnect with organizing efforts in CD7 and ways to stay involved beyond the 
 event. ?? Snacks and refreshments will be provided. ?? We'll also be colle
 cting donations to support The Fledge\, with QR codes available and cash a
 ccepted. Come create\, connect\, share\, and build community with us!
