DESCRIPTION:As is long-standing tradition\, the first two meets of the scho
 ol year will be held over Labor Day Weekend and K-Day weekend. For new fac
 es reading this announcement\, an AEMT meet is a great way to meet like-mi
 nded car people and explore some of the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula court
 esy of a cruise. If your vehicle has wheels and plates\, come show it off!
  Lifted trucks\, slammed coupes\, bikes\, or mom’s old Honda Odyssey- Al
 l vehicles are welcome at all AEMT events. No car up at Tech? That’s oka
 y too! AEMT encourages all students to participate and have fun. After eac
 h of these meets will be a cruise up to Copper Harbor\, using a hand-selec
 ted route that maximizes views and driving experience. For those with tigh
 t-handling cars there will be an up-tempo group\, and a second group behin
 d driving at a relaxed pace. We respectfully request that no burnouts\, do
 nuts\, revving\, double-line-passing\, etc. are performed at AEMT events a
 s we are representing Michigan Tech on the roads. Copper Harbor cruises ar
 e always a blast. If you cannot drive the cruise route\, many drivers will
