DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Public Lands Day\, Pictured Rocks National Lakesho
 re is hosting a clean-up event at Miners Castle Beach. Drop in at any time
  on Friday\, October 2nd between 11:00am and 2:00pm to help cleanup litter
  and debris on the beach and in the surrounding area. Volunteers should me
 et rangers near the Miners Beach public parking lot and bathrooms. Trash b
 ags\, buckets\, trash grabbers\, gloves\, and high visibility vests will b
 e available to participants. All volunteers are encouraged to bring bug sp
 ray\, sunscreen\, water\, and snacks. It is recommended to wear appropriat
 e clothing for the weather and wear closed toe shoes. Children under the a
 ge of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Location: Mine
